With the world’s strongest economy, US provides the finest employment opportunities. However, a trend reversal is happening; US is creating more onshore job opportunities in US. Sectors such as semiconductors, IT, cyber security, data science, space technology, pharmaceutical, management and finance are the few sectors that have witnessed a recent resurgence.

As the highest per-capita country, US salaries are bound to be higher than most other countries. Moreover, employment prospects are growing in US as the unemployment ratio has consistently declined after covid scares. Bachelor’s Degree: To apply for a bachelor’s degree, you must clear class 12 exams or equivalent, have a minimum GPA of 2.50 to 3.00 or equivalent, and a minimum TOEFL score of 61 to 80 or equivalent.

Master’s Degree: To apply for a master’s degree, you must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university,  have a minimum GPA of 3.00 to 3.25 or equivalent, and a TOEFL score of 78 to 100 or equivalent.

Doctoral Degree: To apply for a doctoral degree, you must have a master’s degree from a recognised university,  have a minimum GPA of 3.00 to 3.25, and a TOEFL score of 84 to 106 or equivalent.

IELTS:

IELTS is a widely accepted English language proficiency test. However, each university has its IELTS score yardstick; the minimum bend score of 6.0 is the minimum requirement.

TOEFL:

TOEFL evaluates understanding and communication skills in the English language. The three-hour exam demands a minimum score of 550 to be eligible for the US universities. 

GMAT: if you desire to pursue a master’s course in management, you must appear for the GMAT exam. It evaluates your English, maths and reasoning skills. In addition, you must secure a minimum score of 556.5.

GRE – Similar to GMAT, GRE is compulsory for those who desire to pursue undergraduate courses in the US. You must score above 300 to secure admission to a US university. 

LSAT – the LSAT is a test for students who want to be admitted to law schools. The students are evaluated based on reading and verbal reasoning skills.

Considering the quality of education, Australia is cheaper than the US and the UK. International students in Australia can complete their studies in Australia quite affordably. They also can apply for scholarships to reduce their education cost in Australia.
